As a result of the small number of letterpress printing machine roller, the residual ink in printing plate roller can not be timely evenly spread, causing the ink volume in local imbalance, and the partial ink is greater than the required for printing ink, let the print’s local graphic color more depth than other parts and appear the back glue film.

Thus, the back glue film appearance has a great relationship with the label printing machine ink lines design is reasonable or not.

To solve the back glue film has the following methods:

1.    Increase the number of ink-leveling roller:

Add many ink-leveling rollers in a printing unit, to let the ink layer in the printing plate roller can be more evenly transfer to a printing plate, thus greatly reducing the depth of back glue film.

2.    Reform printing plate roller

In view of some long live version, transform the printing plate roller diameter as thickness as edition roller, also can be greatly reduce the back glue film depth. The principle is: the relative position between the inking zone of printing plate roller and edition roller can be maintain consistency, so the ink layer thickness is relatively stable. This way is applicable to satellite label printing machine.

3.    Adjust the ink way
The specific method is to release ink teeth, regulating the ink tack to control ink amount. It can guarantee the required volume of ink so that the ink transfer to the roller as uniformly as possible, what’s more, the ink can be more evenly delivered to printing plate roller to reduce the back glue film purposes.
